Linspire HPC 7.0.1 Released

Today we are pleased to announce the next evolution of Linspire HPC, Linspire HPC 7.0.1.  What is Linspire HPC 7.0.1?  Linspire HPC is a system specifically designed for desktop High Performance Computing.  This system is designed specifically for researchers, multimedia designers, publishing and anyone who needs more than just a standard desktop OS.  Linspire HPC formerly PC-UX is not a new flavor, PC/OpenSystems LLC has provided advanced Operating Systems for businesses since 2008.

So what makes Linspire HPC different from other Enterprise OS's.  First, we start with ease of use.  Linspire HPC is easy to setup, easy to deploy, and easy to use.  Included are tools for remote administration, development and included is support for other Enterprise Operating Systems such as RHEL and Oracle Linux.  With our UNIX Subsystem we also support many software only UNIX applications.  Linspire HPC also is a great cloud environment with facilities to turn your web apps into fully functioning desktop apps.  Linspire HPC also allows you to install whatever apps you need and business customers can "roll" their own and standardize on a basic image.

Linspire HPC is a very secure environment.  From Anti-Virus to advanced intrusion detection as well as being able to set policies on devices that are allowed to be used
