Introduction
PC/OpenSuite for Windows is a collection of open source packages available for the Windows platform. PC/OpenSystems LLC offers two releases. One is a completely OSS solution which only utilizes completely open-source applications and can be downloaded, redistributed and used for free. There is no support option available for the free release of PC/OpenSuite for Windows but community and forum support. The second release, PC/OpenSuite for Windows Pro, is a commercial, paid for release, and comes with professional support for these packages including installation support. PC/OpenSuite for Windows is the perfect marriage between open source and the Windows platform. Each program has its own installer for users to decide which programs they wish to use. There are two major non-free and binary only applications with the paid release of PC/OpenSuite for Windows Pro and that is JDeveloper and Oracle JDK both licensed from Oracle.

With the PC/OpenSuite for Windows Pro release you get 12 months of phone and e-mail support. For the 12 month period customers also get all updated packs and new releases free of charge. Onsite support and Onsite installation support is available at an extra cost.
