Over the last month we have been evaluating the licenses for Black Lab Pro Desktop and Black Lab Linux EDU.
What we want to do is simplify the license for customers and to make sure that they get the most bang for their buck. So what we have done is change the commercial licensing term a little and we have followed more of a Red Hat Enterprise model. Starting with Black Lab Linux EDU and Black Lab Pro Desktop 4.2.5, when you purchase your licenses you get 12 months of phone and e-mail support, well we have changed it to where you also get 12 months of free upgrades. This includes incremental and major upgrades. When you renew your licenses after 1 year, the same terms apply. You get 12 months of phone and e-mail support, this also includes 12 months of free upgrades, incremental and major releases.
These changes will be put into effect immediately and the product pages have been updated to reflect the changes.
