Today the PC/OpenSystems team is releasing PC/OpenSuite for Windows 2.0. This marks the second release of PC/OpenSuite for Windows. There are two versions of PC/OpenSuite for Windows. One free that can be downloaded, redistributed and used totally free of charge. There is also the PC/OpenSuite for Windows Pro release which we support and provide to many of our enterprise, education, and other customers who need to work in a mixed environment or who use only Windows. PC/OpenSuite for Windows is the perfect marriage between open source software and the Windows platform.
All these applications have their own installer so customers can install whatever applications they want to to install. PC/OpenSuite for Windows requires a 64 bit CPU and the following
- Windows 8/10/11
- RAM: 8gb/16gb or more for resource intensive applications
- 30 gb or more Hard Drive for target installation
The free/libre release contains only open source software. The source code is freely available and you can make any changes to the source code. The free release contains the following apps:
